Ramaas University’s unique admissions process eliminates unfair biases. We don’t create obstacles, each application we receive is carefully considered on an individual basis. We don’t promise admission to students through legacy admissions or scholarship.

Instead, our admissions process focuses on who you are, how you think, and what you have achieved. Our goal is to determine whether a student will thrive in our academically and experientially challenging programmes and contribute to our global mission to create a brighter world for generation.

Here at Ramaas University, we’re committed to making the transfer process as easy as possible. Find out what the application process is like and what the most important steps you can take to the next level​. If you’ve attempted 15 or more university level credits after high school graduation, you should apply to Ramaas University as a transfer student. High school graduates who have attempted less than 15 university-level credits should contact our Admissions and Enrollment Management Office to discuss options.

For all first-year and transfer applicants, your first step will be to fill out and submit an application. Throughout this process, it’s essential to check your email regularly for updates from Ramaas University and to follow any instructions provided. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to the admissions office for assistance.

Easy Steps to Apply

1. Complete Application Form

Completion and submission of this form along with the required documentation and admission fee completes your enrolment as a student of Ramaas University.

2. Application Processing

The RU’s admissions office will process your application. They’ll verify that all required materials are included and that your application meets their criteria.

3. Application Review

Your application will be reviewed by admissions officers or a committee. They’ll assess various aspects of your application, including your secondary school, academic record, standardized test scores (if required), personal statement, letters of recommendation, and any other supplementary documents.

4. Last Decision

Once your application has been reviewed, you’ll receive a decision from the Ramaas University’s admission officers or a committee. This could be an acceptance, rejection, or placement on a waitlist.

5. Acceptance & Enrollment

If you’re accepted, you’ll typically receive an acceptance letter or email outlining the next steps, such as confirming your enrollment, semester fee payment, and registering for classes. If you’re placed on a waitlist, you may need to wait until later in the admissions cycle for a final decision.

Transfer Student Steps

Make an Application Plan

If you’re a transfer applicant, you’ll first need to decide if you are applying for the spring semester (January start), (March) or fall semester (September start). Be sure to review the application deadlines.

Complete Application Form

Completion and submission of application form along with the required documentation and admission fee ($35) completes your enrolment as a student of Ramaas University.

Upload Your Documents

Be sure you have submitted all required transfer documents to indicate in your application. All transfer students have to send documents through this email: transfer@ramaas.edu.so

Request Transcripts

If you don't have your transcript documents: Request official transcripts from your current or previous university and sent to our Admissions and Enrollment Management Office. Make sure you follow the proper procedures for transcript requests.

Decision From Committee

Once your application has been reviewed, you'll receive a decision from the Ramaas University's admission officers or a committee. This could be an acceptance, rejection, or placement on a waitlist.
